Leadership

Joshua Packwood is the Founder and Managing Partner of Paxden Partners.
An 18-year investor across public and private markets, Josh brings an investor’s pattern recognition to what matters most to owners: what investors will actually fund, how they behave after exclusivity, and which terms are truly workable.
Previously, Josh was President & COO of Kingston Infrastructure Partners, and earlier served as an investor at Citadel, Point72 (SAC), and Balyasny. He also cofounded Lucus Advisors, an SEC-registered adviser, where he led the Kernel funds and generated 20%+ annualized returns.
Josh also serves as a Senior Advisor and General Partner at Alterius Group.
Josh began his career in Goldman Sachs’ Special Situations Group and graduated Valedictorian of Morehouse College (Rhodes & Marshall Scholarship Finalist), with graduate coursework in data science at Columbia University as a master's in statistics student.

Senior Advisors
Andrea Colombo is an infrastructure finance executive with 26 years of experience in investment banking and infrastructure investing. He previously worked with the Paxden team at Kingston Infrastructure Partners, where he led global infrastructure origination and strategic transactions.
Prior to Kingston, Andrea spent 23 years at J.P. Morgan, where he most recently led the firm’s infrastructure financing business in Europe and advised on numerous high-profile transactions. During his tenure he held roles across mergers and acquisitions, derivatives marketing, structuring, and debt capital markets, developing deep expertise in complex infrastructure financing and risk management.
Based in London, Andrea has built an extensive global network across infrastructure investors, developers, and operators. He graduated with honors from Bocconi University in Milan.
Andrea serves as a Senior Advisor on Paxden’s independent, external Advisory Board.

Prabhu Soundarrajan is an operating executive and strategic advisor with deep experience across industrial technology, environmental services, and infrastructure-related sectors. He previously worked with the Paxden team at Kingston Infrastructure Partners, where he supported investment evaluation and operational strategy initiatives across infrastructure opportunities.
Prabhu previously served as Corporate Vice President of Innovation and Business Development at Republic Services, a Fortune 300 environmental services company. Earlier in his career he was a Vice President at Honeywell International, where he oversaw a $500mm business with approximately 1,600 employees across 50 countries.
More recently, he has advised leading private equity firms and global consulting firms including McKinsey, Bain, and Boston Consulting Group on strategy and operational initiatives across industrial automation, environmental services, digital infrastructure, climate technology, and manufacturing.
He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surat, and an M.S. in Polymer Engineering from the University of Akron. He also completed executive programs in entrepreneurship at the UCLA Anderson School of Management and sustainable business strategy at Harvard Business School.
Prabhu is a Senior Advisor to Paxden, providing strategic and operational guidance to the firm.

Advisors

Ifeanyi Obukwelu is an investment professional with experience across private equity, GP stakes investing, and investment banking. He previously worked with the Paxden team at Kingston Infrastructure Partners, where he supported investment analysis and transaction execution.
Prior to Kingston, Ifeanyi worked at Blackstone, where he focused on sourcing, evaluating, and structuring strategic investment partnerships within the firm’s GP Stakes investment strategy. Earlier in his career he worked at Partners Group in private equity and began his career in investment banking covering financial institutions and private capital solutions at Barclays and Blackstone.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph Wharton Fellow.
Ifeanyi serves as a strategic advisor to Paxden.

Guilherme “Gui” Dzik is an infrastructure and capital solutions investor with experience in structured finance, lending, and infrastructure investing across global markets. He previously worked with the Paxden team at Kingston Infrastructure Partners, where he served as a Managing Director focused on investments across middle-market infrastructure and capital solutions opportunities.
Gui currently works as a senior investor at Lumina Capital, a strategic debt and equity solutions investment firm focused on providing flexible capital to businesses and infrastructure assets.
Prior to Kingston, Gui spent approximately a decade at Goldman Sachs across roles in the firm’s Investment Banking and Markets divisions in New York and São Paulo. During this time, he originated, structured, and executed structured financing transactions for global clients across infrastructure, transportation, oil and gas, real estate, traditional power, and renewable energy sectors. His transaction experience spans Latin America, the United States, and Eastern Europe.
Gui is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He earned a B.A. in Business and Public Administration and Finance, with honors, from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV-EAESP) in São Paulo, Brazil.

Okenwa Ihejiahi is an infrastructure finance professional with experience across project finance, capital markets, and structured transactions. He previously worked with the Paxden team at Kingston Infrastructure Partners, where he served as a Vice President focused on evaluating infrastructure investments and developing structured financing solutions.
Prior to Kingston, Okenwa spent eight years at Goldman Sachs across roles in infrastructure finance, debt capital markets, and cross-asset derivatives structuring. During his tenure he worked on complex infrastructure transactions across North and South America and collaborated closely with Goldman’s Global Capital Solutions group.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University, where he studied economics, computer science, and mathematics.
Oki is a member of Paxden’s Advisory Board, an external, non-governing group that provides strategic guidance to the firm.

Henry Wilson is an investor with experience across infrastructure, energy, and transportation transactions. He previously worked with the Paxden team at Kingston Infrastructure Partners, where he focused on evaluating and structuring infrastructure investments.
Earlier in his career, Henry worked in Goldman Sachs’ Global Capital Solutions Group, where he participated in investments across a wide range of industries and risk profiles. During his time at Goldman Sachs he helped complete more than 10 transactions totaling over $5bn in deal value and was involved across the full investment process, including origination, structuring, and risk management.
Before entering finance, Henry worked as a software engineer, including roles at The Blackstone Group, technology startups, and consulting engagements with NASA. He holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics from Dartmouth College.
Henry serves on Paxden’s external, non-governing Advisory Board in a strategic advisory capacity.

Omar Solimon is a private equity investor with experience in technology investing, capital formation, and transaction execution. He is a Co-Founder and General Partner at Alterius Group, where he leads investment execution, deal origination, and investor syndication.
Prior to founding Alterius Group, Omar was a private equity investor at Thoma Bravo, where he focused on enterprise software investments. Earlier in his career, he held investing roles in the technology, media, and telecommunications sector at Siris Capital and Greenspring Associates (now StepStone Group). Omar began his career in investment banking at Citigroup in the technology coverage group, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions as well as equity and debt capital markets transactions.
He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Omar serves as a strategic advisor to Paxden.
Founders Advisory Council

Shawn Polowniak is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Raptor Waste Solutions, an integrated waste logistics platform serving the Kansas City region. He co-founded the company with Kit Starr after launching the roll-off hauling business My Dumpster Guy in 2017, identifying an opportunity to modernize the waste transfer industry through more efficient infrastructure and operations.
Under Shawn’s leadership, Raptor has developed a patented, state-of-the-art transfer station model designed to improve speed, efficiency, and environmental performance in waste logistics. The company operates transfer stations and hauling operations serving residential, commercial, industrial, and construction customers and has attracted growth capital from infrastructure investors to support expansion.
Earlier in his career, Shawn founded Blacktop Creative, a marketing and brand development firm. Blacktop Creative was later acquired by Barkley, one of the largest independent marketing agencies in the United States, where Shawn served as President of Blacktop Creative following its integration into the firm.
Shawn studied Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Missouri–Kansas City.

Kit Starr is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Raptor Waste Solutions, an integrated waste logistics platform serving the Kansas City region. He co-founded the company with Shawn Polowniak after launching My Dumpster Guy in 2017, a roll-off hauling business built to serve residential, commercial, and construction customers.
The success of the hauling platform led to the development of Raptor Waste Solutions, which was created to modernize waste transfer infrastructure and improve efficiency across the regional waste ecosystem. Today, Raptor combines hauling operations with purpose-built transfer infrastructure designed to improve logistics efficiency and environmental performance.
Earlier in his career, Kit founded Starr Homes, a luxury custom homebuilding company in the Kansas City region that became one of the area’s leading builders of high-end custom homes.
Across his ventures, Kit has built businesses focused on operational execution, disciplined growth, and long-term customer relationships.
He studied business at Graceland University and earned his Master of Business Administration from Creighton University.

Andre McCain was the Founder of HalfSmoke, a Washington, D.C.–based fast-casual restaurant concept that reimagines the city’s iconic half-smoke sausage with a modern dining experience. He launched the flagship restaurant in the Shaw neighborhood in 2016, building the brand into a growing hospitality platform, including Butter Me Up, with multiple locations across the Mid-Atlantic.
Prior to founding HalfSmoke, Andre built a career across finance, consulting, and real estate development. His experience includes investment banking at UBS Investment Bank, consulting at A.T. Kearney, and real estate investment and development roles with SL Green Realty, The JBG Companies (now JBG Smith), and Princeton Holdings, where he focused on acquisitions and development projects.
Andre was also a founding team member at Cleveland Avenue, a venture capital and strategic investment firm that invests in high-growth companies across the food, beverage, retail, and technology sectors.
A Washington, D.C. native, Andre founded his first company as a teenager and has remained focused on building businesses that create economic opportunity in the communities where they operate. He holds a degree in Economics and Finance from Morehouse College and has also studied economics at the London School of Economics and Peking University.

David Moody is an entrepreneur and business leader with more than three decades of experience building and leading companies in the construction industry. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of C.D. Moody Construction, a commercial construction firm he launched in 1988 that has grown into one of the largest minority-owned construction companies in the United States.
Under David’s leadership, the company has delivered hundreds of commercial projects across the United States and has been involved in the development of major landmarks including Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Maynard Jackson International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College.
David began his career as an architect and construction professional before founding his company, which started as a small three-person operation and grew into a major commercial contractor.
In addition to his work in construction, David is a speaker and author who shares lessons from his entrepreneurial journey and leadership experience.
He holds a degree in Psychology from Morehouse College and a professional degree in Architecture from Howard University.
David is a member of Paxden’s Founders Advisory Council ("FAC"), a voluntary group of entrepreneurs who provide a founder's perspective to the firm. The FAC does not have governance or decision-making authority or responsibilities.

Tony Wibbeler is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bolder Industries, a circular manufacturing company focused on transforming end-of-life tires into sustainable raw materials for the rubber, plastics, and petrochemical industries. He founded the company in 2011 with a mission to address the global tire-waste problem by converting discarded tires into valuable materials such as recovered carbon black, petrochemicals, steel, and energy.
Under Tony’s leadership, Bolder Industries has developed proprietary technology that converts waste tires into high-value products, including BolderBlack®, a sustainable alternative to petroleum-derived carbon black used in rubber and plastics manufacturing. The company’s process is designed to reduce landfill waste, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and create circular supply chains for industrial materials.
Prior to founding Bolder Industries, Tony held leadership roles across manufacturing, environmental services, and technology businesses, including serving as President of Orange County Environmental and leading national sales and marketing efforts in the medical technology sector.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science from Ball State University with a focus on industrial technology, manufacturing, and engineering.
